A landscaping lens? lol I use my 18-55 mm kit lens, and sharpen my photos in the post processing. Thank you! :)

really? i have a 18-55 kit lens too ..
often it produces very 'flat & dull' images ..
do you use only photoshop for editing?

You may not be taking them properly with front to back focus, and editing them properly. Yep, Photoshop and sometimes Photomatix for a HDR.
